India Starts MANAS, an Digital Platform to Deal with Mental Health

MANAS is a comprehensive, scalable, and nationwide digital well-being platform for all age groups using a first app version for the age groups of 15-35 years Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India Prof. K VijayRaghavan practically established the”MANAS” Program to promote health across age classes.

MANAS is a comprehensive, scalable, and nationwide digital health platform and a program developed to fortify the psychological well-being of Indian citizens. MANAS App incorporates the health and health efforts of different government ministries, clinically validated native tools with gamified ports developed/researched by different federal bodies and research institutions.

MANAS was pioneered from the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. It was jointly implemented by NIMHANS Bengaluru, AFMC Pune, and C-DAC Bengaluru.

Of India, set down future directions for its program development and stated, “The program has to be incorporated with the general health schemes such as the National Health Mission, Poshan Abhiyan, e-Sanjeevani, along with many others so it is used extensively. Anyway, the application has to be produced multi-lingual.”

Lieutenant General (Dr) Madhuri Kanitkar, Member PM-STIAC, gave a summary of MANAS. She emphasized that MANAS relies on life skills and heart emotional procedures, together with universal availability, providing age-appropriate procedures, and encouraging a more positive mindset focusing on health. Catering to the total wellbeing of individuals of all age classes, the very first version of MANAS concentrates on promoting positive mental health in the age group of 15-35 decades.
