

Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt Ltd on Friday announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to divest its hospital business at Klang, Malaysia, to healthcare supplier Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care.
Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed. Set in 2016, Manipal Hospitals, Klang, is a tertiary care hospital Licensed by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health, according to a statement issued from the Indian multi-specialty healthcare provider.
The 220-bedded facility offers a variety of over 30 specialty solutions such as Klang only state-of-the-art trauma center, ” it said.
The divestment comes in a time when Manipal Hospitals gear up for a smooth integration of Columbia Asia Hospitals India as that the purchase is nearing conclusion, the announcement said.
“The Hospital group is also scouting to Expand its Footprint in Eastern India which is currently underserved and Further, enhance its presence in the present geographies,” it was stated.
